What’s been happening:

I have over 50 years of drive system experience, including 5 years at Bell Helicopter, 23 years at Kaman Aerospace, 15 years at Lucas Western (formerly Western Gear),and since then as a drive system consultant. My work has included design, analysis,manufacturing, test and production. In addition to conventional drive system work, I have performed or supervised research contracts for seven government agencies. I produced four SAE documents while a member of the SAE S-12 Helicopter Powerplant Committee from 1964 to 1993. I have been awarded 21 patents and authored 35 technical papers. My work has been published by seven technical societies. I have received contribution awards from NASA and SAE
